Understand how Identity and Access Management helps protect sensitive data, control user access, reduce credential theft, and strengthen cloud security.
Nearly 90% of financial organisations have experienced data breaches, with 60% of those incidents involving identity theft. As remote and hybrid working continues to expand the attack surface, controlling who has access to what has never been more important.
Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a fundamental part of modern cyber security. This eBook explains what it is, why it matters and what your organisation needs to do to get it right, from privileged access management to securing identities in cloud environments.
In this free eBook, you'll discover:
Learn how to manage user access, reduce credential theft, secure cloud identities, and improve IAM security awareness across your organisation.

Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a cybersecurity framework that helps organisations manage digital identities and control who can access systems, applications, data, and cloud resources. IAM uses processes such as identification, authentication, authorisation, and auditing to ensure the right users have the right access at the right time.
IAM is important because weak access controls, stolen credentials, excessive permissions, and poor password practices can lead to data breaches, identity theft, insider threats, and unauthorised access. Strong IAM security helps reduce these risks through multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, privileged access management, least privilege, and continuous monitoring.
Key IAM best practices include using single sign-on, enforcing multi-factor authentication, applying role-based access control, automating user provisioning and deprovisioning, regularly auditing access rights, securing cloud identities, and training employees to recognise phishing, credential theft, and social engineering attacks.
